FAQ's

Q. 1. What does GARBHASANSKAR mean?

Ans. A word 'Garbha Sanskar' is itself explainatory foetus/garbha means a new life taking shape in a woman's womb. The process of selecting and transmitting positive influences by means of yoga, reading, thinking, praying including healthy eating and cheerful behaviour is known as 'Garbha Sanskar'. During 9 months period of pregnancy the ancient Ayurveda has documented about what a pregnant woman should eat to which God/deity should she worship and which mantras to listen/say in which month of pregency. It has also been scientifically proved that subconscious mind of a foetus can be influenced more powerfully than conscious mind of grown up child after birth. The foetal indoctrinations are much more effective than post delivery indoctrinations and they are also difficult to erase. So we should accept this method of influencing the foetus with good values. This precisely is GARBHA SANSKAR.

Q. 2. Why is this GARBHASANSKAR needed?

Ans. To compete in today's overgrowing population and resulting race out future generation needs to be very intelligent, resourceful and creative. Today the slogans like "Hum do hamare do" or even going a step further "hum do harara ek" are considered more appropriate. Now it is necessary to bring this single child in sophisticated form so that it makes you proud by its extraordinary and all round qualities. Woman power has been very raised and their importance told by proverb like "The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world". This power can be enhanced actively by Garbha Sanskar done under in to your child.

Q.3. What makes this possible?

Ans. To ensure that your forthcoming baby is born as a well cultured healthy and intelligent child is entire up to you. As per the science of Ayurved you can plan such a child right from the conception stage i.e. as soon as the lady becomes pregnant or even before just as to get good fruits good quality of seeds alone are not enough but the soil should be made fertile by proper tilling, supplying adequate amount of water care of plant in the soil is required. In the same way for cultured and healthy child GARBHSANSKAR is required. Ayurveda recommends suitable medication to remove the deficiencies if any in both the parents. Garbhsanskar done after and even before the conception is extremely beneficial.

Q.4. THE MYTHOLOGICAL ANGLE OF GARBHASANSKAR

1) In Mahabharat there is a well known mythological story as to how Lord Krishna had taught Abhimanyu to enter in 'chakravyuha' when he was in his mother Subhadra's womb. This story too proves the fact that men during mythological period too believed the concept of Garbha Sanskar.

2) In Ramayana too reference is found that before the birth of Lord Rama during 'putra kameshti yagya' the Agni devata gave King Dashratha 'payas' which can be considered as a form of 'Garbha Sanskar' only. There is a mention in The Ramayan that Rani Kaushalya used to get such delivery cravings that she would like to fight a war with bows and arrows, go into the jungles and get rid of the menace of demons and Rakshasas.

3) Jijamata was so very keen to beget such a son who would annihilate the tribe of yavans and establish the Hindu dominant kingdom that her spontaneous thought vibrations influenced her foetus in the womb that these must have been imbibed into the mind of developed embryo.

4) In the Jain mythology, the story of Queen Madalasa tells us that the Garbhsanskars or the foetal indoctrinations are very deep rooted. When the Queen Madalasa was pregnant, she used to discuss a lot about religion and follow it very strictly. Focusing her attention on the foetus, she used to advise for the upliftment of their souls. The result was that all her five sons were very religious from birth and they developed detachment for normal family and social life. At the time of conception of the sixth son, the king advised her to do the foetal implantation of such qualities which are required for a king. She did and the result was the son whom she begot this time became a valiant emperor.

5) There is also a mention in The Bible that Jesus while in womb had heard what of Mother Mary had talked to her friend once and later when he was born, he as a child had reminded The Mother about that conversation.

6) The foetus of Bhagwan Mahavir was already influenced with the spiritual, sonic and spatial knowledge and due to this fact Trishala Mata could easily explain the complicated principles and word meanings of Jainism as long as Mahavir was in her womb; but the same meanings were beyond her comprehension earlier.
